HypnoBirthing® - The Mongan Method is a tried and proven method that guides and prepares a mother to give birth in a peaceful, relaxed and comfortable manner.
It considers well-being of the mother - mentally, emotionally and physically - as well as her birthing partner, and the newborn. No matter if the birth is to take place at home, in the hospital, or in a birth centre, you can have a positive experience.
Through HypnoBirthing®, mothers, and their partner, learn how their bodies are made to birth. They also learn how fear, tension and anxiety can be released in order to ensure for a calm, relaxed and gentle birth.
Mothers and their birthing companions are taught how to reach an ultimate state of calm and relaxation, through education, relaxation, visualization, self-hypnosis, breathing and affirmations.
Through these classes, mothers learn to dismiss fear-based stories, misinformation, and birthing myths. They are helped to see birth as normal and natural and learn trust that their bodies know how to bring their babies into the world.
